Our new name, SCHOU ABSOLUTE, honors our family heritage and commitment to excellence. We take pride in nurturing top-tier horses, supporting talented professionals, and building trust and care between horse and rider.

Horse welfare is our priority. We believe happy, healthy horses are the key to success, and their well-being guides all our decisions.

meet the founders

Andreas and Christian Schou, founders of SCHOU ABSOLUTE, have built the company into a renowned and respected stable for both young and elite-level horses. Both began riding at an early age, achieving outstanding results in the sport.

  • Andreas Schou competes as a member of the Danish national team, regularly representing Denmark at major international championships. His achievements include participation in the World Cup series, Longines Global Champions Tour, and Global Champions League.

  • Christian Schou now focuses on overseeing all aspects of Absolute Horses. In his competitive career, he represented Denmark in the 2011 European Championships and several 5-star Nations Cups, achieving numerous accolades.

  • An Expert Team
    The Absolute Horses team also includes Lars N. Pedersen, who brings decades of expertise to the role of COO. Lars has represented Denmark at the 2022 European Championships in Milan and served as Sports Director and Chef d’Equipe for the Danish national team until 2018. His experience ensures the highest standards in horse training and care.
